She also wrote the extremely popular novels ‘The Edwardians’ and ‘All Passion Spent’, as well as scholarly non-fiction works. Sackville-West was the famous inspiration for the protagonist of ‘Orlando: A Biography’, by her famous friend and lover, Virginia Woolf.
